Trying not to be boring

OK, so my kids told me that our blog is boring since we haven't posted anything lately.

It's one day after the national election and I am praying a lot for our country. While I'm not surprised that the Republicans lost (I think they strayed a long way from their conservative values over the last several years), I'm not convinced the Democrats will do any better. In fact, I think this vote reflected the Republicans loss more than they Democrats win.

The good news is that we serve the living God and my trust is ultmately in him and not in either political party.

By the way, Gram and I spent a wonderful day on my birthday (11/5) with the Wrold's Greatest Grandchildren (Tyler, Emma and Benjamin) and with their families. We got to see Corrie the next day and life is good.
