Gram and Pap

Forgot to mention that the crane pictures were a present from Lorrie. She knows how much I love cranes!!!! Good night everyone.

Saturday and Sunday we made a BOLD change. Pap and I painted our living room maroon!! It looks wonderful! We love it!!! Looks right out of a magazine to me. Can't wait till you kids come to see it IN PERSON! Blessings for your week everybody. God is good - all the time!!!!

Tyler was not about getting his picture taken, but we took one anyway. Yes, this "big kids" were there too, and we do have pictures of them too. Won't post them now - too many. But will say that Jenna and Prasti had a bright sunny wonderful smiles, Aaron looked a little more like Tyler's.

Samuel just slept through the whole thing. Little too young for pizza yet. Did get to cuddle this bundle of joy for a while at the house before going out to eat. Sweet, sweet, baby. Had his eyes open the whole time then. Silly Gram did not bring her camera into the house so missed that opportunity for a pic. Next time.

Ben was his own happy self, LOVED eating french fries. Ate his pizza well, though sometimes bribed with "Take one bite then you can have another french fry."

Weekend of Nov. 14-16

Had a wonderful Friday visiting you kids in Lakewood. (Missed seeing you, Corrie!!) Did a little shopping (at Dillards of course). Ate at Angelo's with the rest of the "kids", some bigger, some littler, one tiny. (smile). Emma was particularly lovey, unusual for her. I grabbed my camera and told Prasti to hurry and get a picture. I had to capture this moment!

Sunday, Nov. 2

After church, settled down to watch our Brownies play. The game provided some highs and some lows, the lowest low being we lost - AGAIN!!! Sometimes it is hard being a Browns fan. Poor guys. Gotta love em. I once again put up my blow up Brown guy in hopes that he would be good luck - the last time I put him up they won! Ah well, maybe the winning or the losing has nothing to do with my Browns guy. Hey, did I ever tell you my mom used to play for the Cleveland Browns??

Blessings and Shalom to you all. Have a great week.

After seeing the kids, went to see Corrie's show "Into The Woods". The Hanna Theatre is beautiful, newly renovated. This is Great Lakes first season there. The play was great, the singing wonderful, and of course the stage manager was beyond compare!!!!! And yes, I cried. Sometimes there isn't a fairytale ending. Sometimes people die. We battle many giants and witches in our lives, but thank God that He is there to supply the armor we need to withstand the onslaughts.

Saturday, Nov. 1

Can you believe it is November already? Went to Lakewood/Cleveland today. Saw Ben and Sam, the boys as I like to call them. Took Ben his own set of keys, one that lights up when you push a button. You know Ben and buttons and lights. He was thrilled. "Gam, sit down. Gam, sit down chair." was his request so I could watch him play. Didn't bring camera in (what was I thinking?!?) so don't have a pic. It so warms my heart to love on the kids!! Went to Aaron's too, but Emma was asleep and Tyler was out playing with friends. This is one of our most cherished job descriptions though - GRAM AND PAP. We'll take all comers for overnights (grin - hint hint).

New Clothes

Me and my new jeans and sweater. I be stylin'!

Weekend Update

What a strange week. Enough snow to make snow angels and snowmen one day, and a few days later, warm enough to ride with the top down on the convertible! But then again, this is Ohio.
Friday dad and I (or Hon as I like to call him)l, had the whole day together. It was a wonderful sunny day, and the warm day when we drove with the top down. Kids being raised, you'd think we'd have more time to do things like that, but we don't. So we cherish the times we have and DO recommend date nights (Gram and Pap offer to take the kids for overnights) to those of you with children. We did a little shopping that day (got a pair of jeans at Dillards for $13.00!!!!! - that just makes it feel like a successful day right there!).
